Summer’s in full swing, and our team is ready to roll! ☀️

Our trained and passionate lifeguards are on deck, and KIDCO staff are bringing the fun to camps across the city—all thanks to the amazing group that wrapped up training in May.

Come cool off at your local pool—entry is free and lifeguards are on duty!
And if you missed summer KIDCO this year, don’t worry—registration for afterschool programs opens in July.

We’re proud of the team making summer safe, active, and unforgettable. 💙

🚧 Wagging Tails Dog Park Update 🐾
Heads up, dog lovers! Monday, June 16 - Monday, June 23, improvement work will begin at Wagging Tails Dog Park. While some areas will be temporarily closed during construction, two sections of the park will remain open at all times so your pups can still play!

The Week of June 23: The North dog park area will be hydroseeded and closed for about a month to allow new grass to grow.

Thank you for your patience as we make these upgrades! We’ll keep you updated with any changes. 🐶💚

🔥FIRE EMERGENCY IN EFFECT🔥

The City of Tucson has declared a Fire Emergency and enacted Stage 2 Fire Restrictions due to extreme wildfire risk.

🚨 Tucson Fire has responded to 522 brush fires this year — up 89% from 2024.

🚫What’s NOT allowed on city property:
No campfires — even in designated areas
No charcoal or fires in park grills
No fireworks
No target shooting
No chainsaw use
No outdoor smoking in natural areas
No open flames of any kind

🔥 The risk is real. Protect homes, wildlands & lives.
