The 2026 Legislative Session has come to a close, and it was an unusual one. With the state budget still unfinished and historically fewer bills passing than usual, it is clear the Legislature still has work to do. Lawmakers will return to Tallahassee next month for both an extended and a special sitting to finish the budget and address remaining priorities.
Even in a difficult year, I was proud to pass HB 851 in my very first year in the Florida House, helping equip teachers and school administrators with better training to support students on the autism spectrum. I was also honored to sponsor the Joe Casello Act (HB 1019) to phase out PFAS “forever chemicals” in firefighting foam and strengthen how Florida addresses contamination from these substances.
I also sponsored numerous bills aimed at addressing affordability for Floridians, including measures focused on housing and cost-of-living pressures. Unfortunately, many good proposals never received the opportunity to cross the finish line.
Delivering results in Tallahassee takes persistence, independence, and the ability to work across the aisle when it matters. That is exactly what I will continue to bring to District 90.
Now it is time to get back home to Delray Beach and continue the work.
Because the Legislature will soon return to Tallahassee, the window to support this campaign is limited. If you want to help keep an effective voice for District 90 in Tallahassee, donate here:

Thank you to everyone in District 90 who continues to support this work. I look forward to seeing many of you around town soon.
