The Wy’east Wonder might just be one of the most scenic races in the Pacific Northwest. From endless wildflowers to jaw-dropping views of Mount Hood, this is the kind of course that has you reaching for your camera almost as often as your water bottle. The 50 miler serves up 7,000 feet of climbing and 10,000 feet of descent, while the 50k delivers plenty of challenge with 4,000 feet of gain and a huge downhill finish.

New for 2026, grab a friend and tackle the 50k Relay. One runner takes on the first 18 miles before handing off to their teammate for the final push to the finish. It is a perfect excuse to share the adventure and the post-race burritos.

Half marathon and 50k runners will tackle the infamous climb to West Tiger, including over 1,300 feet of climbing in less than a mile on the Section Line Trail. What’s it really like to spend three days running through the red rocks of Moab, Utah?

In this episode of our YouTube series “Behind the Bib,” Isabella Janovick () takes on the Moab Run the Rocks, a three-day stage race across some of the most legendary terrain in Utah. Slickrock, singletrack, desert views, tired legs, and the kind of trail running community that keeps people coming back year after year.

Between stages, runners hang out in ChillVille at the finish line, swap stories from the course, recover with friends, and soak in the full festival vibe that makes this race feel like more than just another weekend event.

One month from today, the trail world turns its attention to the 2026 Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run!

The start list is absolutely stacked from front to back, with returning champions, rising stars, course veterans, and a handful of runners who could completely change the race once the canyons hit. Every prediction list looks different this year, which is exactly what makes Western States Endurance Run so fun to follow.

This is the kind of race that pulls the entire trail community together. Early alarms for the start. Livestreams running all day. Friends texting split updates back and forth. The climbs, the heat, the river crossing, the track finish in Auburn… there’s nothing else like Western States weekend.

June 27th can’t come soon enough. 👀🔥

The Black Copperhead Sting 50k is all about showing up at Rocky Branch Park, throwing yourself into the trails, and seeing what happens over the next 10 hours. Every 3.24 mile loop brings a mix of climbs, roots, rocks, and fast sections that slowly wear you down in the best possible way.

There is no hiding out here. You either keep moving or the course humbles you. But that is also what makes these loop races so much fun. Every lap becomes its own little battle, and every trip through the aid station feels like a reunion with your trail family before heading back into the woods again.

The Mountain Tiger Donner Summit is back, and if you love big mountain days without having to commit to an ultra, this one deserves a spot on your calendar.

This 12.5 mile point-to-point race on Donner Summit packs in four summits, technical singletrack, smooth fire roads, ridge running, and 3,300 feet of climbing through some of the best terrain in Tahoe. It is challenging enough to make you work for it, but short enough that you can still go all in from the start. The course starts at 7,000 feet and keeps things interesting the entire way with runnable sections, rocky terrain, and nonstop views across Sugar Bowl and Royal Gorge.

📆 July 25th, 2026
📍 Soda Springs, CA
👣 12.5 miles
⛰️ 3,300ft gain

Mountain Tiger was created around the idea that hard mountain races do not always need to be ultras to feel epic, and honestly, they are right.
