Student/Partner Alliance supports inner city high school students in New Jersey with private school tuition assistance and mentoring to increase their chances for college admission and scholarships, and to ultimately lead successful and productive lives.

Supporting students like these is at the heart of everything we do. S/PA has had the privilege of standing beside each of them throughout their high school journey.

Congratulations to our Roselle Catholic High School graduates, the Student/Partner Alliance Class of 2026. Today is the big day!

Four years ago, these students walked through the doors of Roselle Catholic as freshmen. Today, we celebrate them as graduates, ready to move proudly into their next chapter of learning.

It has been one of the greatest privileges of our work at S/PA to walk alongside each of them. We have had the honor of supporting these young men and women as they grew into the thoughtful, determined, and accomplished individuals they are today.

To our Class of 2026: we are so proud of you, and we cannot wait to see all of the amazing things you will bring to this world.

What does it mean to show up for a student during the most important years of their life?

At Student/Partner Alliance, Mentors provide guidance, encouragement, and real-world support to under-served high school students in the Newark, Jersey City and Roselle areas.

We are now recruiting Mentors for our incoming Class of 2030!

What a way to end the year! Our Hudson Catholic S/PA students wrapped up the S/PA year with their our FINAL field trip of the season at the Liberty Science Center — and it was nothing short of amazing!

From exploring incredible exhibits to making unforgettable memories with their mentors, our students showed up, showed out, and reminded us why we do this work every single day.

A huge thank you to Lord Abbett for making this — and all of our field trips this season — possible. Your generosity and belief in our students truly changes lives. We are so grateful!

S/PA St. Benedict's Prep Spring Lunch highlights!

So much gratitude for our mentors and students. This community is something special.

Thank you so much to Mentors and Students who joined us for our S/PA Spring Mentor/Mentee Lunch! It was so great to see everyone connecting and spending time together.

Our students continue to inspire us with their curiosity and willingness to grow within this community.

Last week, our Roselle Catholic S/PA students visited the Liberty Science Center and had an incredible time awakening their inner scientists! They explored the world of microbes through a fun scavenger hunt, met amazing live animals, and got to spend quality time with their mentors. A huge thank you to Lord Abbett for sponsoring such an inspiring and memorable experience for our students. We are so grateful!
