📚20 Minutes a Day Can Make a Big Difference!

By 7th and 8th grade, reading isn’t just something students do in English class; it affects every subject they take.

Just 20 minutes of reading each day helps students build stronger vocabulary, improve comprehension, increase focus, develop reading stamina, and become more confident learners.

And here’s the important part: it doesn’t have to be a “school book.” Let them read something they actually enjoy—mysteries, sports, graphic novels, fantasy, nonfiction, biographies… it all counts.

Twenty minutes may not seem like much, but over time, those minutes add up to stronger readers who are better prepared for high school, college, careers, and life.

So tonight, encourage your child to put down the phone for just 20 minutes and pick up a book. That small habit could have a much bigger impact than you realize. ❤️📖

20 minutes. Every day. Any book. It matters.
