The Municipal Advocates for Kabataan Empowerment or MAKE Magpet 2.0 held last March 20 to 22 2026 has officially come to a close.

Three youth leaders - Jesrylle Gallenero, Leamie Malade & Hanna Algabre, all from Barangay Owas Magpet took part in the activity where they were able to learn, share experiences, and connect with fellow young leaders from different barangays.

The participants are grateful for the opportunity to grow and be part of a meaningful experience that they can bring back to their community.

SK officials kauban ang mga Volunteers sa Barangay Owas nagbuhat sa ilang Team building/Outing sa Kalimudan Tanu Beach Resort, Glan, Saranggani.

Apan, kini sila wala migamit sa budget o fund sa SK. Mga penalties ug individual contribution ang naka sustinar sa maong panglakawon.

Kini gibuhat alang sa pagpasalamat sa ilang kakugi , pag participar ug pagtabang sa tanan nga mga kalihukan alang sa kabatan onan.

Matod pa ni SK Chairperson โ€œgusto gyud unta nato madala ang tanan kabatan onan. Apan, tungod sa limitado nga resources ang mga volunteers lang una ang gi una kay tungod di ta gusto nga makuhaan o masayang sayangan ang kwarta nga alang sa mga kabataan ra gayod. Emeโ€

Busa, sa tanan nga nakigduyog hinaot nalipay kamo bisan sa kagamay sa atong mga pinansyal. Sa mga kabatan onan nga wala naka uban, basin kini nga tuig ang panahon aron kamo napud ang magvolunteer sa mga aktibidadis.

Isang makulay at makabuluhang selebrasyon ang ginanap noong Nobyembre 27, 2025 para sa Childrenโ€™s Congress, kung saan ipinahayag ni Punong Barangay Hon. Petronila G. Pendon ang kanyang makahulugang State of the Childrenโ€™s Address (SOCA)โ€”isang ulat na nagbigay-linaw sa mga tagumpay, programa, at patuloy na adbokasiya para sa kapakanan ng bawat batang Owasnon.

Umalingawngaw ang sigla at saya sa ibaโ€™t ibang palaro na nilahukan ng mga bata, habang kanilang ipinamalas ang husay at talino sa Poster at Slogan Making Contest. Tunay na nakita ang kanilang malikhaing imahinasyon at malasakit sa komunidad.

Isang araw ng inspirasyon, tuwa, at pag-asaโ€”sapagkat sa Barangay Owas, ang boses ng bata ay binibigyang halaga, at ang kanilang kinabukasan ay patuloy na inaalagaan.
