Benguet, known as the “Salad Bowl of the Philippines,” is a province blessed with a cool climate, fertile soil, and high elevation ideal for semi-temperate crops. Yet, even in this thriving agricultural province, many farmers like Ali face the same harsh truth—that their hard work rarely translates into financial stability.

ATOK, Benguet proudly known for its high value crops like fresh vegetables, vibrant cutflowers, aromatic coffee, and heirloom rice is now blossoming with a new surprise - exotic fruits! We have now DURIAN, MARANG, RAMBUTAN, LANSONES, BANGKOK SANTOL and others which usually grown only in the lowlands but these fruits are now grown in the warm areas of Atok, in barangay Naguey and Pasdong. This only proves that ATOK is not just a vegetable basket but it offers a unique blend of highland and lowland produce for everyone to enjoy! 👍🏻❤️🎉

📣Celebration of the 2025 WORLD RABIES DAY... Every 28th of September is declared as the World Rabies Day (WRD) by the Global Alliance for Rabies Control, and RA 9482 or the Anti - Rabies Act of 2007. This year marks the 19th year of the observance of WRD with the theme, "Act now: You, Me, Community". The theme highlights the shared responsibility of everyone in the elimination of rabies.

With this, the LGU - Atok, through the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) would like to inform the public that we are continuously providing FREE anti- rabies vaccination for dogs and cats. Please feel free to visit our office at Sayangan, Paoay, Atok for any request for anti-rabies vaccination.

Let us all work hand in hand for the elimination of rabies!
