Seniors-Seal of Biliteracy Applications are now available in the Counseling Office! More information about the seal and the requirements can be found in your Counseling Google Classroom. Applications are due to the Counseling Office by the end of the school day on Friday February 28th
The Essentially Everly Club is having a book and toy drive beginning on February 18th until February 28th All donations must be NEW and in its original packaging. Donations can be dropped off in the library, Ms. Ault's room, Mr. Kenyon's room, and the main office! All of the donations will go towards children battling cancer and daycares. Every donation counts! Essentially Everly has meetings every Monday in P-3.
Hey Vikes! Get ready for a roaring night! We are thrilled to announce our Great Gatsby Prom on March 22nd, at the Sacramento Masonic Temple from 7pm-11pm. There will be live music, food, drinks, photo opportunities, and more! Make sure to purchase your tickets at the ASB window or the Vanden webstore while you can secure your spot. Be sure come best dressed on theme to win a special prize. Dust off your tux, slip in your pearls and get ready to party Gatsby style.
SENIOR VIKINGS! Sr. Trip is on the horizon! The event will be all day on Wednesday, May 21st at Universal Studios. Get your tickets now for $335 with the ASB sticker and $350 without. Prices raise after February 3rd to $350 with the ASB sticker and $375 without! Don't miss this trip and make your senior year memorable at Universal Studios!
Yearbooks are being sold for $95 from January 27th - May 10th! You can purchase with cash or check only (Vanden High) at the ASB Store during lunch or with card online at Jostens.com.

Grad night is June 6th from 9am to 3am, price is $65 purchase them at gofan.co This is the last time to create memories with all your friends a night full of games unlimited food and drinks live DJ and lot so prices.
Vanden will have another blood drive on Thursday, March 6, in the Commons. Donors must be at least 16 years old and donors under 18 are required to have written parent permission. See Ms. McIntyre before school or at lunch in Q-1 to ask questions, pick up permission forms, or make your appointment. You must make your appointment and have all the forms submitted by Tuesday, March 4 at lunch. Save a life! Give blood!
Hey Vikes! The long-awaited Powderpuff season where girls play flag football and boys cheer is coming up soon! Permission slips to be a player, cheerleader, or coach are finally available in P-2 in the morning and during lunch. Come sign up for your class ASAP as there are only 30 spots per class for players. Permission slips are due on March 5th in P-2 and the rules meeting will be on March 6th during lunch in the gym. We hope to see you there!
Hey Vikes! Wanna play some 3 on 3 basketball? Come sign up for March Madness in p-2! Sign-up packets are due on March 5th also in p-2. Teams are to be of 3 players minimum and 5 players max. One varsity player from each boy's and girls’ varsity basketball teams max per team. Rules meeting is on March 7th in p-2! We hope to see you there!

The Vanden Disc Golf Club is having our first meeting today at lunch where I will be teaching them the basics of the game. If any staff would like to learn how it works, you are welcome to come join as well. Those that have turned in their permission slips will be joining me at a beginner level course in Dixon after school. Most of the club members have never played disc golf before, so I will be starting from the very bottom. If it's something you've ever been curious about, come check out the equipment and learn how it's played! Meeting today in Q5 during lunch.
Today we also have a home Volleyball game come on out to support your classmates.
