In line with the overall efforts to ICTize the services to make it easier for general public, the Department of Forests and Park Services will be rolling out the Online system for Forestry Services coinciding with the World Rangers Day on 31st July, 2022.
With this, the services are made available within a tap of a finger. People can now use the system to apply online to avail services like obtaining various forestry permits and clearances without having to physically visit offices.
With the growing popularity of gadgets and it's use, it is our sincere efforts to tap on the potential and take services ever closer to the public and make it easier, faster, effective.
Services such as Forestry clerance, Fishing permits, NWFP permits, Import and export application and permits and timber permits are made easily accessible and user friendly. A click takes you through.

This is to inform the general public under Tsirang Dzongkhag Administration that the Department of Forests and Park Services will be rolling out the Online system for Forestry Services coinciding with the World Rangers Day on 31th July, 2022.
Hence, the general public can apply online to avail various services like obtaining permits and forestry clearances without physically visiting the offices.
This office urge the general public to avail the online service's which has been aimed for quick public service delivery and to ease in movement of forest products.

𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

In keeping with the Department's continuous drive to improving the public service delivery (PSD), the timeframe for Rural House Building Timber (RHBT) application process has been amended based on the decision of the 150th RNR-GNHC Meeting of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests held on 23rd June 2022.

Henceforth, the general public can now initiate the application processes throughout the year.

This has not only helped the country built her image as champion of conservation globally but also has ensured our local communities reap the benefits through multiple ecosystem services and rich natural resources at their doorstep. With protected areas at the core of conservation landscapes and considering the current conservation best practices that Bhutan is following, the positive impacts of conservation shall continue to benefit the country and its people for many generations to come. All these has been possible only because of the enlightened vision and leadership of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Singye Wangchuck to protect the natural heritage of Bhutan for all times to come, for which we as the beneficiaries of this great vision remain ever grateful.

The Department of Forests and Park Services, Ministry of Agriculture and Forests celebrates with joy on Your Majesty’s winning of the prestigious 2022 Blue Planet Prize. The Department joins the nation in offering our heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty the Fourth King for winning the prize. The award comes at a time when the earth is facing unprecedented triple planetary crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss and pollution. For Bhutan, being located in the fragile mountain ecosystem and being prone to these crises, it is a timely reminder that conservation efforts should not be compromised.

Taking on the footsteps of Your Majesty, the Department of Forests and Park Services, as the custodian of Bhutan’s natural environment re-dedicate ourselves towards protecting the rich natural heritage to ensure sustainable benefit for all the times to come.
