KABOWEI CELEBRATES 3OTH ANNIVERSARY IN UNITED KINGDOM AND IRELAND
Sons and daughters of Kabowei Kingdom which comprises of communities in Delta and Bayelsa States residing in the United Kingdom and Ireland, on Saturday, marked the thirtieth anniversary/fundraising event in London.
The three-day event which kicked off on Friday, June 14th, was concluded on Sunday, June 16th.
The fundraising was done to execute projects back in Kabo communities in Nigeria.
The Kabowei Ogbo of United Kingdom and Ireland witnessed the presence of kinsmen of the Kingdom resident both home and abroad, especially the Pere of Kabowei Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Barrister Peremobowei S. Erebulu, Aduo ||| alongside his Queen, Captain Matthew Karimo, President of Kabowei Development Union Worldwide, immediate past Political Adviser to the Governor of Bayelsa State, High Chief Collins Cocodia, Dr Chief Chris Ekiyo, Engr Theo Ekiyo, amongst others.
Marked in the heart of the United Kingdom, the event also discussed at length the several issues affecting the Kingdom at home, with a view of proffering solutions.
His Royal Majesty, Barrister Peremobowei Erebulu, King of Kabowei Kingdom, in his remarks, urged sons and daughters of the Kingdom not to forget their roots, and work towards contributing their quota in ensuring the development and giving a facelift to the several communities that make up the Kingdom.
Kinsmen of the Kingdom resident abroad, in their separate remarks, lauded the developmental efforts of brothers and sister back home, and pledged to give their own share towards uplifting the area.
