Alhamdulillah, As per the directions of the worthy Chief Minister Punjab, A fire hydrant has been successfully installed at Mall Road Murree. Subsequently, a joint demonstration was conducted in collaboration with Rescue 1122 to ensure operational readiness and effectiveness of the installed facility.
The activity was completed satisfactorily and the hydrant was found fully functional.

وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب محترمہ مریم نواز شریف کے وژن کے تحت مری میں واسا کے قیام اور سیاحوں کو فری آف کاسٹ صاف پینے کے پانی کی فراہمی کے لیے موبائل واٹر وین کا اعلان

وزیر برائے ہاؤسنگ پنجاب بلال یاسین نے کہا ہے کہ وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب محترمہ مریم نواز شریف کے وژن کے مطابق شہریوں اور سیاحوں کو معیاری بنیادی سہولیات کی فراہمی حکومت پنجاب کی اولین ترجیح ہے۔ انہوں نے مری کے دورے کے دوران سیاحوں کو فری آف کاسٹ صاف پینے کے پانی کی فراہمی کے لیے موبائل واٹر وین کے قیام کا اعلان کیا۔

وزیر برائے ہاؤسنگ پنجاب نے اس موقع پر واسا مری آفس کا دورہ کیا، جو وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب محترمہ مریم نواز شریف کے وژن کے تحت قائم کیا گیا ہے تاکہ مری میں صاف پینے کے پانی کی فراہمی اور نکاسی آب کے نظام کو جدید خطوط پر استوار کیا جا سکے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ واسا مری کے قیام سے شہری سہولیات میں نمایاں بہتری آئے گی اور سروس ڈیلیوری کا نظام مزید مؤثر ہوگا۔

دورے کے دوران وزیر برائے ہاؤسنگ پنجاب نے پی ایچ اے مری اور پبلک ہیلتھ انجینئرنگ ڈیپارٹمنٹ کے افسران سے مری میں جاری اور مجوزہ ترقیاتی منصوبوں پر تفصیلی بریفنگ لی۔

اس موقع پر ایم این اے راجہ اسامہ اشفاق سرور، ڈائریکٹر جنرل پنجاب واسا طیب فرید، ایڈیشنل کمشنر ریونیو عمر کیانی اور منیجنگ ڈائریکٹر پی ایچ اے احمد حسن رانجھا بھی موجود تھے۔

منیجنگ ڈائریکٹر واسا مری عظیم شوکت اعوان نے بریفنگ دیتے ہوئے بتایا کہ وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب محترمہ مریم نواز شریف کے وژن کے تحت واسا مری کے قیام سے شہریوں کو صاف پینے کے پانی کی فراہمی اور نکاسی آب کے نظام میں دیرپا بہتری آئے گی۔ انہوں نے مری میں جاری اور آئندہ منصوبوں کے حوالے سے تفصیلی بریفنگ دی۔

وزیر برائے ہاؤسنگ پنجاب بلال یاسین نے ہدایت کی کہ وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب کے وژن کے مطابق مری میں تمام منصوبوں کو ترجیحی بنیادوں پر مکمل کیا جائے اور شہریوں و سیاحوں کو ہر ممکن سہولیات فراہم کی جائیں۔

Special Secretary HUD&PHED, Mr. Waqar Azeem, along with Deputy Secretary (Technical), Ms. Soman Khalid, visited WASA Murree today.
During the visit, they were briefed at Tonley Tanks, Kashmir Point, regarding the existing water supply and storage system of Murree. A detailed briefing was also given on the rainwater harvesting techniques being planned and proposed for implementation, with particular emphasis on sustainable and climate-resilient water management.
The Special Secretary HUD&PHED appreciated the initiatives taken so far and directed WASA Murree to prepare a comprehensive, solid, and long-term plan focusing on efficient water usage and systematic rainwater harvesting, keeping in view Murree’s future water demand and environmental sustainability.

🔹 Representatives of WASA Rawalpindi gave a detailed briefing on ongoing and proposed schemes aimed at improving water supply infrastructure.

Chairman P&D Board Dr. Naeem Rauf Said that ensuring safe and sustainable water supply for Murree is a top priority. The Govt of Punjab committed to timely ex*****on of projects that will not only serve residents but also meet the seasonal demand during peak tourism. He further said coordination among all departments is vital to deliver efficient and long-term solutions.
