This is my 2023 quilt, Sunshine on a Cloudy Day. I created it as a tribute to Ukraine, and even more specifically, to my dear quilting friends in Ukraine. You’ll notice the yellow and blue transparent swaths across the bottom representing their colors of Ukraine. Of course the sunflower is their symbol. And the red swath represents the blood of the innocents. This quilt has been acquisitioned by the international quilt museum, one of five quilts that I have in that collection. It’s a huge honor.
