This special event honours the conservation legacy of the 4th King of Bhutan and celebrates Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday.

Bhutanese Dreamer and Phuntshok Sonam are well-known social media personalities and content creators known for documenting daily life, culture, and travel within Bhutan. This year they travelled from Thimphu to Trashiyangtse to participate in the Black-necked Crane Farewell Festival 2026.

Phuntshok Sonam is also a popular Bhutanese dancer (he writes: I'm a dancer and vlogger from Bhutan with a passion for travel camping. Dancing to vibrant Bollywood and kpop songs brings me joy, and I love sharing my experiences through my vlogs!). Phurba Tamang (widely known as Bhutanese Dreamer) is a talented visual artist and singer too ("I’m a freelance artist and vlogger").

They are part of a growing community of Bhutanese influencers, and frequently seen collaborating on vlogging travels and entertainment scenes.

Both of them have achieved millions of views on YouTube contents.
(As of Feb. 16, 2026, YouTube data reads: 122,131,553 views (Phuntshok Sonam) and 5,471,359 views (Bhutanese Dreamer).
