Attention to all area veterans:

I will be out of the office for the next two to three weeks due to receiving shoulder surgery today. Ken and Mick with the holt county veteran service office has offered to help with our three county area if you need anything. They can be reached at 402-336-1200.

Attention area veterans:

I have a free 9 month program for Active Duty, National Guard, Reservists, veterans, or their dependents (spouses and children 18 years or older) offered by the University of Nebraska Lincoln to any interested veterans or their dependents!

The program is called Heroes to Hives and introduces participants through both online and hands on training to be effective, small scale, sustainable bee keepers. The program deadline submission is February 28th. Please contact my office at 402-387-0233 or email me at [email protected] for more information or help to sign up!

On this day 79 years ago, a one hour and 15 minute attack led to the death of 2,403 US personnel and injured another 1,178. Today we honor all those who served at Pearl Harbor during this time in history. Let us never forget the sacrifices that were made and the devotion to duty shown on that day 79 years ago.
