“Many don’t know exactly what The Last Supper was all about & why the palpable outrage over the Olympic’s Opening Ceremony & the mocking thereof. This is a very good explanation!

The Last Supper was not an invitation of the Lord to eat and drink with the crowd. It was not an instance of the many times he interacted with public sinners. Please, do not conflate his love for all with every action he undertook.

The last supper was his private celebration of the passover with those he have chosen as his most intimate followers. Catholics believe that at that event he ordained the twelve and instituted the Eucharist. But even if that is not your theology, you can see that he reserved that time for sharing with the leadership of his flock and those followers closest to him. There is a difference between the crowd and his inner circle, a difference seen throughout the New Testament. If we additionally look at the Lord’s behavior when with the crowd it was always to call them to repent.

Yes, one of them, Judas, had evil intentions and left early to put them in motion. But he was one of the twelve. So much is the case that later the eleven filled his office with Mathias.

Some have lost the sense of propriety and reverence. They think that a scene portraying the apostles in drag is fine because we are to welcome everyone. They pervert the scene for a narrative that, although true to a point, does not fit the situation. It is not hateful to oppose the mocking of an event Christians revere. There are people who go beyond and become insulting of others. That is not a proper thing to do either and I denounce it. But to denounce the act perpetrated is more than proper, it is necessary.”

We should have a problem with Democrat VP Harris not welcoming Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu at the Capitol on Thursday afternoon because she is “addressing a sorority” in Indiana, as if that’s so important! NOT‼️

Senator JD Vance will also NOT be in attendance for Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech to Congress as he has “duties to fulfill” as the Republican nominee for Vice President! Seriously⁉️

That is totally UNACCEPTABLE given the political climate we live in at this time. Put your “duties” on hold for an hour so you can attend to a vital meeting with the only ally (Israel) we have in the Middle East‼️

Tomorrow I will be in Washington DC testifying in front of the Subcommittee on Federal Lands in support of making the Apostle Islands a national park! This will be Wisconsin’s FIRST national park and will be a boon for our tourism economy in the northwoods.

President Biden should have been in the Oval Office and videotaped his withdrawal from the 2025 election to the American people, NOT issue a resignation letter that wasn’t even on official stationary. The news pundits are starting to say it’s weird that we have not seen the president in person.

Yet the response of the DNC was to try and hide President Biden’s degeneration from the American public and disable democracy to ram him through to his party’s nomination.

Many Americans fear that the same DNC elites are about to rig the nominating process again to get a monumentally unpopular vice president to step into President Biden’s shoes. I call on the Democratic Party to return to its traditional commitment to democracy and exemplify it with an open process.

Instead of anointing a candidate hand-picked by DNC elites, the party should use neutral polling to identify the candidate who can best beat Donald Trump. The delegates should then select a nominee based on this information. If they had done this to begin with, I would not have had to leave the Democratic Party.”
