Trans Day of Visibility is about showing up for trans communities in ways that actually matter.

Right now, trans communities are facing coordinated attacks on healthcare, legal recognition, and basic safety. At the same time, the organizations doing critical, on-the-ground work to support them are being stretched thin. If you’re posting today, don’t let it stop there.

We know that gender justice is not possible without trans justice. All our work together must actively include, protect, and uplift trans communities — especially those most impacted. Showing up today means committing to action that continues beyond this moment.

As you know, we have been hard at work with planning Gem City Q***r Fest. It has been quite the experience for the entire committee. We’re absolutely on board to keep going with more events that connect our q***r community, and some, in the midst of this social, economic, and political climate.

To be absolutely clear, these funds will be used to support the local artists who have helped us curate our image, having and creating merchandise, and planning for future events. It will only be used for Gem City Q***r Fest events and event planning.

A calmer, sensory-friendly egg hunt designed with your child’s comfort in mind! Kids will search for eggs inside the library in a relaxed environment with thoughtful accommodations like quiet rooms, lower lighting, sensory toy prizes, a written step‑by‑step schedule, practice time, and a color‑coded hunt. Noise‑canceling headphones and weighted blankets will also be available. Registration is required.
