DASO UWC This page serves to keep our members and followers up to date with activities and serves as a platform of engagement.

The DA Students Organisation (DASO) is the student chapter of the DA Youth - a passionate, vibrant movement of young people that support the DA's vision of an Open Opportunity Society for all. We draw on the DA's principles of good governance to bust corruption, and deal with campus issues. DASO promotes the DA's vision to students through positive example and practical policy proposals. The following paragraph is taken from a recent DASO policy summit. It describes very briefly the core prinicples of our organisation. "We, the students of the Democratic Alliance, rooted in the values of liberal democracy, commit ourselves to the protection and promotion of an open and free educational environment based on academic freedom, equality of opportunity and respect for individual worth."
