🌱 Growing Stronger Roots, Building Brighter Futures

A big thank you to all our wonderful participants for your commitment, participation and openness throughout our parenting skills programme.

It was truly special to see everyone share, learn and grow together. We hope you take what you’ve learnt with you as you continue your parenting journey.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. We’re so proud of you all! ❤️

This Women’s Month, we honour the courage it has taken over generations for women to have their voices recognised, respected and heard. 💜

Change happens when women stand together, encouraging one another, making space for every voice and choosing compassion, including self-compassion. There is courage in knowing your worth, using your voice and allowing yourself to be seen.

🪻 May we continue to create spaces where every woman feels heard, valued, supported and strengthened.

Compassion doesn't place one person above another. It brings us alongside one another. 💜

At Badisa, we believe every person deserves to be seen, heard and treated with dignity. True compassion begins when we recognise our shared humanity, not as the helper and the helped, but as people walking alongside one another.

Because care is not about standing above someone. It is about standing with them. 🫶

Prioritise your well-being, be kind to yourself, and remember, self-care isn't selfish.

Which self-care tip speaks to you? 💚

On Friday, 17 July 2026, we celebrated the spirit of Mandela Day by sharing warmth and kindness with children in the Greenlands community. 💛🧶

Thanks to the generous donation of hand-knitted beanies and Nik Naks from a caring member of a local church congregation, each child received a warm beanie and a special treat to brighten their day during this winter season.

Thank you to everyone who helped make a difference, one act of kindness at a time.

Dear friends of Badisa,
Badisa is building a Wall of Care, and we invite you to be part of it.
By buying a symbolic Brick of Hope, you help support the care Badisa provides across communities. Each brick represents dignity, protection, belonging, healing and hope.
This is not a wall that keeps people out. It is a wall that holds people up.
Please scan the QR code on the poster to support our sector through BackaBuddy.

Thank you for helping us build care, one brick at a time.
Together we build.
Every share matters.
Every donor matters.
Every brick matters.
Together, we are building more than a campaign.
We are building a Wall of Care.
