CTRL+INNOVATE: THE SHORTCUT TO TOMORROW

Are you ready to build, innovate and solve real-world challenges with technology? 💡

The BizTech Nexus Innovation Hackathon is coming to Bloemfontein on the 25th-26th of September 2026, bringing together young innovators, creatives, developers, entrepreneurs and problem-solvers for an exciting 24-hour innovation sprint.

Participants will work collaboratively to develop practical, innovative solutions to real-world challenges, with the opportunity to transform ideas into prototypes and showcase their solutions to industry experts.

Adelaide Tambo Library, American Corner Mangaung and GKSS recently hosted a Digital Literacy Programme for 30 Grade 9 learners from Heatherdale Secondary School. During the programme, learners were introduced to coding fundamentals and gained practical skills in designing and creating websites. They also developed essential digital skills that promote creativity, problem-solving, and innovation. At the end of the programme, learners will apply the knowledge they have gained by creating and presenting their own websites as a final project, showcasing their understanding and newly acquired skills.

🎉 Digital Skills & Coding Workshop Success! 💻🌐

The American Corner Mangaung and Adelaide Tambo Library recently hosted a three-day Digital Skills & Coding Workshop, where participants explored digital literacy, coding fundamentals, and web development. Throughout the programme, they developed practical technology skills, enhanced their problem-solving abilities, and gained hands-on experience in creating websites.

On the final day, each participant proudly designed and built their own web page, demonstrating the knowledge and skills they had acquired. To recognize their dedication and achievement, all participants received certificates of completion.
We are proud to empower young people with future-ready digital skills and look forward to seeing them continue their journey in technology and innovation.

The American Corner Mangaung and Adelaide Tambo Library, in partnership with the University of the Free State (UFS), successfully hosted a 3 day agripreneurship Programme in Thaba Nchu with the help of Selosesha Library.🌱🚜

The programme equipped participants with valuable entrepreneurial and agribusiness skills, ending with an exciting business pitching competition. We also had Lindiwe Moroka share her inspiring agripreneural journey and encourage participants to pursue their goals with confidence and determination.
