I tried to listen carefully to the leader of the EFF.

He does well to articulate the feelings that many South Africans may (and rightfully so) may be feeling right now.

He also does well to shift blame and desensitise by means of deflection.

He makes easy promises for very complex solutions. In doing so his solutions are nothing more than what has failed the country in such a huge way in the past 26 years. What abilities has he demonstrated in his past to lead and manage beyond the comfort zone of politics and connections to the elite?

The rest of his utterances are nothing less than specator criticism, the hurling of insults and an expression of his lust for violence and hatred.

The crux is that all or any credibility he may have had, was destroyed by his complicity in the architecture of what brought us where we are today. The country we live in today is the product of vision of the persons who claimed to lead and to have been in control yesterday.

When it benefitted him, he was willing to kill for the masterminds of our current mess.

Now that he is no longer close to the fire (control over public resources) he (and his leadership team) have tried to reinvent themselves as champions for the citizens of the country. Citizens who never mattered when the South Africa we are living in today was in the making.

He is part of the same group of persons who are, now slowly, but certainly faced witb legal challenges and accountability and who is willing to use whatever means to try and regain a grip on power for their own needs.

This he does by divisive rhetoric that has the sole objective of retaining the segregated voting patterns of 1994 as a sure means to retain his ultimate goal, namely, a racially exclusive grip on power.

This he does to ensure that this group of people who are in the crosshairs of justice avoid their day in court.

The day when they will be exposed for who they are and what active and passive role they played
