Reflecting on the EARTHBOX journey ✨

I am filled with such awe and wonder when reflecting on the EARTHBOX journey and what was achieved. Watching this dream take shape despite innumerable challenges and the wettest winter in decades, witnessing my own strength and proving my own self doubts wrong is testament that we are capable of so much more than we can ever imagine.

While the EARTHBOX chapter has concluded, the spirit of innovation and connection continues with The Dream Commission. Follow along at as we embark on new adventures that inspire and captivate.

The final phase of our remediation was the seeding process. The earth has been laid to rest, and now we lay the seeds that will grow into grass once more, returning the site back to the field as it was first found. The field where we once walked across beautiful landscapes to enter the journey into the earth, is also starting a new cycle, as are we.

R E M E D I A T I O N ✨

As the journey of EARTHBOX comes full circle, we can’t help but see the resemblance between the “making of” footage and the remediation footage. It’s moments of all hands on deck, removing what was used to create the EARTHBOX space and leaving behind no trace, only memories. All elements have either been resold, repurposed or recycled. What an incredible journey it has been.

Brad Baard, what an honour and a joy it has been to travel on this extraordinary, life changing journey with you. We have laughed so hard, we have cried (or at least I have), we have been challenged to our cores, and have shared so many unbelievable (literally), once-in-a-lifetime memories together. Thank you so much for your remarkable creativity and for simply being such a beautiful human.

L A N D S C A P E

The landscapes where we walked with our shoes in our hands and listened to our guided meditation audio, the pathways where little feet ran barefoot and got all muddy, the grass where we sat under umbrellas and waited for a magical Sunday Session to begin is no more. But, the memories will live on forever. Huge thanks to and Heimo Schulzer for designing and bringing to life the most magical landscape.

At EARTHBOX, we welcomed all ages, evoking a sense of awe, play, and happiness for everyone who stepped into our space. Working alongside Play by Nature, we created special moments for the little ones to connect with the raw beauty of Mother Earth through play and discovery.

It's these memories of laughter, wonder, and calm that remind us of the impact nature has on each of us, no matter our age. 🧡

The story of the stones.

The landscape was as much part of the EARTHBOX experience as the underground chamber was. The berms were created with the excavated earth from inside the chamber, which is being replaced layer by layer.

Every stone, plant, and feature brought to site to make the EARTHBOX landscape the serene space that it was have been rehomed so that the EARTHBOX spirit can live on now that the EARTHBOX season has come to an end.
