Sons and Daughters of the soil,

Africanists, Africans and fellow lovers of Africa.

As we mark the final PASMA Thursday of the year, we pause to reflect another year of principled struggle, unwavering commitment, and collective resilience in pursuit of justice, dignity, and genuine transformation. This day stands not merely as a routine marker on our calendar, but as a reaffirmation of our collective historical and revolutionary obligation to the children of the oppressed, downtrodden, dispossessed and landless.

PASMA Thursdays have always, and should continute to serve as a political site of resistance, a space to sharpen our ideological clarity, consciousness, and recommit ourselves to the total liberation of the African people from neo-colonial domination, imperialist exploitation, cultural erasure, mis-education and dis-education.

Today is not only a moment of reflection, but also of appreciation. We salute every PASMA member, supporter, and sympathiser stood firm in serving, suffering and sacrificing for the betterment of the lives of young people in institutions of higher learning across occupied Azania, and keeping the flame of radical thought alive throughout the year.

As we enter the festive season, we extend revolutionary greetings and warm wishes to you and your families. May this Christmas be a moment of collective reflection, renewal, and recommitment to championing of student and worker struggles across all institutions of higher education. Let us rest not in complacency, but in preparation for the tasks of organisation, mobilisation, and ideological struggles that await us in 2026.

Let us carry forward the spirit of solidarity, discipline, and courage into the new year committed to deepening political education, strengthening organisational coherence, and intensifying the struggle for a just and equitable society.

In the words of the Founding President of the PAC, Mangaliso Robert Sobukwe;
"Here is a tree rooted in African soil, nourished with waters from the rivers of Afrika. Come and sit under its shade and become, with us, the leaves of the same branch and the branches of the same tree."

Happy PASMA Thursday,
and Merry Christmas mathandazwe.

Yours in Leadership
Provincial Executive Committee
