Breaking news is that the global aviation industry has taken a strong stance on the carriage of the controversial lithium ion batteries.

“The International Civil Aviation Organisation (Icao) has slapped a complete ban on lithium ion batteries (UN 3480 only) being carried as cargo on all passenger flights from April 1,” David Alexander, GM of Avsec, told FTWO.
