This is a detailed list of the frog species you find in the City of Cape Town region and some are invasive species for e.g.

Eastern Leopard Toad (Amietophrynus pardalis)
Guttural Toad (Amietophrynus gutturalis)
Painted Reed Frog (Hyperolius marmoratus)

The rest are indigenous, with some threatened with extinction for e.g.
Cape Rain Frog (Breviceps gibbosus)
Western Leopard Toad (Amietophrynus pantherinus)
Cape Platanna (Xenopus gilli)
Micro Frog (Microbatrachella capensis)

Durbanville, previously called Pampoenkraal, is a town in the Western Cape province of South Africa, part of the greater Cape Town metropolitan area.[3] It is a semi-rural residential suburb on the north-eastern outskirts of the metropolis, surrounded by farms producing wine and wheat.

The Uitkamp Wetland Nature Reserve was proclaimed a nature reserve in 2001. The reserve is a precious 32 ha wetland valley in a renosterveld region, with 140 different plants and many rare species.

In spring, the reserve is home to masses of arum lilies and pink watsonias, which flower in the waterlogged central valley. The dryer edges are home to moederkappie orchids, babianas, sparaxis, moraeas, sundews and purple-and-red wine cups. The wetland valley is also home to the Cape caco frog and the Cape rain frog, both of which are threatened species.
