[Millennium Village] MEC for Health in Limpopo Ms Dieketseng Mashego today visited Millennium Village in Ward 13 of Mogalakwena Municipality as part of the Limpopo Provincial Service Delivery Week programme, reaffirming government’s commitment to bringing quality healthcare services closer to communities.
Residents received a range of essential health services including Mobile services, oral health care, vital screening and testing, dietetic services and eye care support.
During community engagements, residents raised concerns about the lack of a mobile clinic in the area. In response, MEC Mashego committed that a mobile clinic will be provided to ensure improved access to healthcare services for the people of Millennium Village and surrounding communities.
From Millennium Village, the MEC proceeded to Tshamahansi Clinic for an unannounced visit to assess the overall operations at the facility, engage with healthcare workers and ensure that communities continue to receive efficient and dignified healthcare services.
