Sekhukhune District Municipality Also Bids Farewell to Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe

The South African Police Service (SAPS) hosted a Stakeholders Engagement Session at Boeketlong Business Lodge in Jane Furse to engage with key stakeholders and honour the Provincial Commissioner of Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, for her dedicated and long-standing service to the organisation as she prepares for retirement.
The engagement brought together various stakeholders, traditional leaders, government representatives and members of SAPS to reflect on the valuable contribution made by Lieutenant General Hadebe in strengthening law enforcement and community safety across the province.
The Executive Mayor of Sekhukhune District Municipality, Cllr Minah Bahula, who also addressed the gathering, acknowledged the critical role played by SAPS in combating crime and maintaining law and order within communities. She further commended Lieutenant General Hadebe for her commitment, leadership and service excellence throughout her tenure.
Cllr Bahula urged members of SAPS to continue to uphold and build on the legacy left by General Hadebe to make communities safer for all residents.
Sekhukhune District Municipality joins the people of Limpopo in wishing Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe well in her retirement and future endeavours.
