LAND PARTY Announcement

The Land Party Chief Leader Gcobani Ndzongana has used his discretion as party leader to deliver 50 food hampers tomorrow to destitute families in the Zwelihle Community. This initiative aims to defuse tensions following the distribution of food by Overstrand Municipality and certain groups to victims of vigilantism in Kleinmond and Gansbaai.

This selective assistance has raised many questions, anger, and resentment, as Overstrand Municipality and associated groups failed to offer similar support to local families affected by the recent severe floods.

The Land Party will continue this outreach by delivering another 50 food hampers in the coming weeks to destitute families in Gansbaai, Kleinmond, Mount Pleasant, and Caledon, followed by support for victims of vigilantism.

The campaign will be led by the Chairperson of People's Elections, Councillor Kholiswa Kholie Krilakazi Ngqandana

PUBLIC NOTICE

THE LAND PARTY JOB-SEEKING PROTEST

ZWELIHLE, HERMANUS

The Land Party Chief Leader, Gcobani Ndzongana, will lead a 4-day peaceful job-seeking protest in Zwelihle, Hermanus.

Purpose of the Protest:

The protest seeks to address the serious concerns raised by South Africans who remain unemployed while many businesses continue to employ only foreign nationals. We demand fairness and priority for local South African citizens in employment opportunities.

Key Demands:

- Business owners must publicly disclose the number of South Africans they currently employ.

- Businesses must implement a 90% local South Africans / 10% foreign nationals employment ratio, with general labour positions reserved exclusively for South African locals.

- Businesses unwilling to employ South Africans are requested to relocate their foreign workforce to Voelklip and other white suburbs, while taking full responsibility for their safety and accommodation.

- The employed are urged to stand in solidarity with the unemployed by not going to work until every South African who wants a job has one.

Call to the Community:

The Land Party calls on all community members concerned about illegal migration, unemployment, drugs, and crime linked to some migrants to come forward and support this peaceful protest.

All Somali, Ethiopian, and Bangladeshi-owned shops, salons, and other businesses are requested to close for the four days of the protest until the community’s concerns are resolved and meaningful employment of South Africans begins.

Additional Demands:

- The Overstrand Municipality is requested not to collect rent, suspend auxies from Zwelihle residents until every household has at least one working family member.

The protest will remain strictly peaceful, with the safety and protection of all participants ensured.

Dates:

27 June to 30 June 2026

The LAND PARTY will also engage its leadership structures in Gansbaai, Stanford, and Kleinmond to join the Zwelihle community during this period, as these issues affect the entire region.

Should these matters not be resolved, the Land Party will organise a similar peaceful protest during the Whale Festival weekend.

Forward to Justice and Economic Freedom for South Africans!

25/05/2026

When Africa celebrates Africa Day, it is time for honest reflection on African leadership. For far too long, our continent and its people have been plagued by poor leadership, marked by weak decision-making, lack of vision, unaccountability, indecisiveness, and rampant corruption.

This leadership crisis has fueled conflicts, entrenched underdevelopment, triggered economic crises, and enabled the continued plundering of Africa’s resources. Africa’s growth, success, and development continue to be held back by inept leaders who lack the foresight to unlock the continent’s immense potential.

These leaders have often been used by foreign powers to sow divisions, create crises, perpetuate civil wars, and displace millions of Africans from their own countries.

It is time for African youth to stand up and demand the unity of our people against poor leadership. It is time for the youth to rise against tyranny and hold accountable those leaders who continue to fail the continent. It is time for young Africans to come forward and fight for the development of a prosperous Africa, a continent that harnesses its rich natural resources, fertile agricultural land, abundant water, vast skies, and wildlife to become a global leader.

As Africans, in every district and corner of our continent, it is our responsibility to build a better Africa, an Africa we can all be proud of.

One Africa means no more war in Sudan, Congo, Central African Republic, Somalia, Ethiopia, or anywhere else on the continent. A united Africa is one that can collectively resist Western dominance and imperialism, and reject being used as vassal states. It is an Africa that no longer depends on handouts and charity from its former colonial rulers.

A united and developed Africa means Zimbabweans building a successful Zimbabwe, Nigerians building a thriving Nigeria, and the same for Somalia, Sudan, Congo, Ethiopia, and every nation across the continent. It means removing from power those leaders whose ineptitude and corruption continue to divide and hold Africa back.

Happy Africa Day!

The Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, Mr Thami Ntuli, is failing to diagnose the real reason behind the uprising against African migrants in his province and across the country. The truth is that this fight has nothing to do with legal or illegal migrants. Instead, it stems from the government’s failure to address how capital and businesses exclude South Africans from the economy and labour market. These entities prioritise foreign nationals for cheap labour exploitation, sidelining South African citizens in the process. This is done to undermine the Labour Relations Act, the government, and social cohesion in our country.

If you listen to the protesters, they are very clear: they are complaining about job opportunities, economic exclusion, and criminal activities committed by both illegal and legal migrants. The core problem is the economic exclusion of locals while foreign nationals thrive under the watch of South African citizens.

The sad reality is that even the leaders of these local protests are failing to correctly diagnose the problem, which makes their efforts appear futile. This contest is fundamentally about resources. The real solution is to target the main culprits...capital, businesses, and the government. The government must take tougher action against businesses and capital that undermine our laws and perpetuate these tensions, while the majority of our people remain trapped in poverty. The government must take full responsibility for giving capital and businesses leeway to undermine our labour laws in pursuit of higher profits.
