The MEC of Sports Arts and Culture Cde Mangaliso Matika had his Mandela day program yesterday at Bophelo Centre, Seochwareng old age centre and AFM church where he distributed blankets,mattresses food parcels, gas stoves including financial gifts.

He emphasised on how we should take care of our elders, because we are who we are today because of them.

The elders at church graced our leader with a prayer, to bless and protect him through his work.

The ANC volunteers from different wards in the Tlhokomelo cluster under Cde Matika’s constituency office also came out in numbers to support his program

Today, volunteers from Ward 15 and Ward 32 joined the Frances Baard District Municipality staff, led by Executive Mayor Cllr Wende Marekwa, at Tsholofelo Day Care Centre for a community service programme. Together, they donated a new door and paint to restore and brighten the children's playground while everyone participated in painting and improving the centre.

After the programme, Ward 32 volunteers continued with their door-to-door campaign, engaging residents and encouraging them to register to vote and participate in the upcoming local government elections.

Working together through service and community engagement, we continue building stronger and better community.
