🚨 SARZA KZN at Emergency Services Awareness Day 🚨

SARZA KZN was proud to be part of the Emergency Services Awareness Day hosted by the Law Enforcement Foundation at Crusaders Sports Club on Saturday, 26 September.

Our team had a stand at the event, giving members of the public an opportunity to meet our volunteers, learn more about SARZA Search & Rescue, and discover the role we play in supporting emergency services and communities when help is needed.

Our displays and equipment attracted plenty of interest throughout the day, with both young and old enjoying the opportunity to get up close, ask questions and learn more about search and rescue, 4x4 operations and emergency response.

It was fantastic to see so many families coming out to support and interact with the various emergency services. Events like these help strengthen community awareness and highlight the importance of teamwork between SAPS, emergency medical services, search and rescue teams and other response organisations.

A big thank you to the Law Enforcement Foundation for inviting SARZA KZN to be part of this special day, and to everyone who stopped by our stand and supported our team. 💙

🚵‍♂️ Go2Sea Mountain Bike Ride | SARZA KZN 💚

Yesterday, the 17th September 2026 was Day 7 of the Go2Sea Mountain Bike Ride, we saw riders reaching the final stages of an incredible 7-day journey through South Africa. With approximately 600 km covered, ±12 000 m of descent and ±11 000 m of climbing, it was certainly a challenge of endurance, determination and adventure.

SARZA KZN was proud to host the first water table on Day 7, providing much-needed support to the riders as they tackled the final kilometres of their journey.

Our team was on hand to keep riders refreshed, supported and moving safely along the route. From the first rider through to the final cyclists, SARZA members were ready to assist and ensure everyone could continue their adventure.

A massive well done to every rider who took on the Go2Sea Mountain Bike Ride — seven days in the saddle is no small achievement! 🚵‍♀️🔥 Go2sea

A big thank you to Compass Marine for their sponsorship assistance 🙏

🚨 SARZA KZN VISITS WINSTON PARK PRIMARY GRADE R’S!

On the 13th of August, SARZA Search and Rescue KZN had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Grade R learners at Winston Park for a fun and educational talk about who we are, what we do, and how we help our community.

The little ones got to learn about Search and Rescue, the different types of situations SARZA responds to, and how our volunteers use their 4x4 vehicles, radios, rescue equipment and teamwork to assist when people need help.

There were plenty of curious questions, excited faces and lots of enthusiasm as the learners got a closer look at what happens behind the scenes during a rescue operation.

It’s never too early to teach children about safety, helping others and being prepared. We hope our visit inspired a few future little rescuers!

A big thank you to the teachers and Grade R learners at Winston Park for welcoming SARZA KZN. We had just as much fun as you did!
