Good evening, on the 12th I lost my partner of more than 13 years. It has been very difficult to focus on anything other than grieving the passing of a loved one, and even his memorial service came with its own challenges.
In this short video by Wayne Thoresson (Sgt-Major of Emonti) you'll notice my publicly criticized "open fingers" salute. The inability to get my fingers together and keep them there without some form of mechanical help, is the result of a terrible accident I had in 2005. 8 tendons, 2 nerves and an artery were severed by broken glass. So please, if you find my salute offensive, please unfollow this page and go look for perfection somewhere else.
Emonti is made up of regular, not so trim anymore people with their own battle scars and we support one another.
