Thabo Mofutsanyana District Municipality - TMDM It is named after Edwin Thabo Mofutsanyana, a stalwart of the communist party.

Description: Thabo Mofutsanyana District Municipality is a Category C municipality located in the eastern Free State province, and borders on Lesotho and KwaZulu-Natal. It comprises six local municipalities: Setsoto, Dihlabeng, Nketoana, Maluti-A-Phofung, Phumelela and Mantsopa. The N3 and N5 National Roads pass through the district, and the famous Golden Gate is found in the area on the slopes of

the Drakensberg Mountains. Despite all the socio-economic challenges facing this district, the area has huge potential for tourism development because of its scenic beauty and its rich cultural heritage. 🏛️WOMEN MASTERCLASS IMPACT THROUGH SKILLS AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

The Office of the Executive Mayor, Cllr. Conny Msibi partnered with YIA, SANParks and the Department of Education hosted a Women Masterclass in the form of an Imbizo, which focused on professional growth, leadership development, and personal empowerment, featuring key programs.

The sessions offered targeted training for female leaders, entrepreneurs, and individuals seeking personal transformation.

"Today we reaffirm our commitment: A district where every young person is empowered to lead, innovate, and own their future.

Through entrepreneurship and partnerships, we are creating opportunities for young women to start businesses, create jobs, and transform communities.

Let us empower. Let us develop. Let us grow. Let us build a stronger, more inclusive economy together." said Executive Mayor Cllr Conny Msibi.
