ANC Peter Mokaba Regional Secretary Cde Lesiba Matsemela today addressed a Special Extended Branch Executive Committee (BEC) meeting of Ward 20 in the Polokwane Sub-Region.

The engagement reaffirmed the ANC’s commitment to organisational renewal, strengthening branch structures and deepening engagement with communities as the movement intensifies preparations for the upcoming 2026 Local Government Elections.

[COURTESY VISIT] | STANDING WITH THE MAKALELA FAMILY

Today, ANC Peter Mokaba Regional Secretary Cde Lesiba Matsemela led an ANC delegation on a courtesy visit to the home of Cde Kegorogile Makalela in Ward 12 of the Sefako Makgatho Sub-Region.

The visit follows the unfortunate accident involving a child and a motorist during the ANC Limpopo Manifesto Launch at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, which resulted in our little sister sustaining injuries.

The delegation was joined by Regional Treasurer and Mayor of Lepelle-Nkumpi Local Municipality Cde Merriam Molala, alongside REC Member Cde Given Sello.

The ANC Peter Mokaba Regional Executive Committee extends its heartfelt wishes to our little sister for a speedy and full recovery. We remain committed to standing with the Makalela family during this difficult time.

Following the door-to-door campaign in Ward 20 of the Blouberg Sub-Region, the ANC Peter Mokaba Regional Elections Team (RET) convened a RET meeting to consolidate the work on the ground and strengthen preparations for the upcoming 2026 Local Government Elections.

The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on engagements with residents, assess the campaign work undertaken in the ward and sharpen our mobilisation and organisational strategy as we intensify the campaign.

Led by Regional Chairperson Cde Masilo Edward Paya alongside Regional Secretary Cde Lesiba Matsemela, the RET continues to take the campaign to every household, branch and community.
