CONSTRUCTION OF COMMUNAL TOILETS, WATER AND SEWER LINE IN LAINGVILLE

Duration: February to April 2023
Affected area: Sections of Duiker, Fransman, Chris Hani and Basil February Streets

Residents in Laingville and Nkanini are hereby informed that Saldanha Bay Municipality will commence with the installation of communal toilets in the Nkanini area and will commence with excavations for sewer and water lines.

Due to these operations, residents in the area may experience minimal inconvenience as construction progresses.

A map with positions of roads that will be closed, from time to time, during construction is included. The Municipality will however try to maintain continued daily access for residents to their properties.

There will be NO taxi disruptions tomorrow as was posted. The leadership of the ANC within the Subregion have organized a meeting with all stakeholders and the taxi industry for this coming week. This will be to discuss and work together with the taxi industry in a way that does not negatively affect our communities
