Dear Overland Now community,
Happy 2026 from all of us at African Overlanders! We wish you every success in your travels for the year ahead. As we reflect on the journey of this group, we're grateful for your involvement and the supportive spirit everyone has brought. We started Overland Now in September 2021 alongside Martin, Jessica, Mark, and a number of other pioneering overlanders who were among the first to venture back onto the roads after Covid. At that time, there were so many unanswered questions about border crossings and travel logistics, as so few overlanders had been on the road the previous year.
Together, we've built a resourceful and welcoming community that continues to help new and seasoned travellers alike. Your stories, advice, and contributions have truly made a difference, and we encourage you to keep sharing your experiences and journey updates with the group to inspire and assist others.
We're excited to invite everyone to visit us near Cape Town whenever your travels bring you this way. To introduce our business and the services we offer, we've attached a short video that provides a glimpse into what we do and how we can support fellow overlanders.
