This morning, SMM's Head of Elections is in Cape Town on The Truth Report Podcast, sharing SMM's vision, mission and commitment to building communities that work for everyone.

As we enter the final stretch towards the 4 November 2026 Local Government Elections, our message remains clear: Real change begins at local level, with leaders who understand the challenges facing our communities.

This is not a municipal photo-op, this is real service. When channels are blocked, houses flood. When SMM acts, the community is safe.

We are not waiting for tenders to serve. We are serving now.

Today SMM Ward 16 team hit the ground - Canvassing and Cleaning Campaign in full swing!

We are not just talking about a clean town, we are building it. Doing Voter Contact,listening to residents, and cleaning our streets at the same time.

Through cleaning and canvassing, we remain committed to building a cleaner community, listening to our people, and moving Metsimaholo forward.

Today we honored our living libraries! Our senior citizens from Ward 8 and 9 Old Age Homes came together for a beautiful day of Indigenous Games.

Thank you so much for laughter and reminding us that our culture is our strength.

SMM believes: A community that respects its elders, secures its future.
Our elders built this town, we must restore its dignity.
