Oxfam seeks a Programme Coordinator – Extractive Industries to lead Zambia’s EI programme and connect it with regional initiatives. The role focuses on coordinating partners, building movement, engaging stakeholders, developing influencing strategies, and fundraising to expand Oxfam’s EI footprint.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Implement and monitor extractive industries programmes in Zambia
✔ Build partner and civil society capacity in advocacy, lobbying, and organisational development
✔ Lead knowledge sharing, stakeholder engagement, and movement building
✔ Strengthen policy influencing and alignment with Oxfam’s regional strategy
✔ Support nexus programming on Extractives & Energy (e.g., Critical Minerals, Lobito Corridor)
Requirements
✔ 6+ years’ experience in programme implementation, advocacy, development, or human rights, with at least 1 year in extractives
✔ Strong programme management, M&E, and advocacy skills
✔ Solid understanding of extractive industries issues in Zambia and existing networks
✔ Excellent communication, gender analysis, and stakeholder engagement skills
✔ Commitment to Oxfam’s feminist principles, accountability, and inclusion
