CHIBOMBO COLLEGE OF NURSING SCOPED FIRST POSITION IN THE JUST ENDED SMART QUIZ

Chitambo College of Health Sciences scoped the first overall position, followed by Mkushi School of Applied Sciences as second position and thirdly Kabwe School of Nursing and Midwifery took the third position.

πŸ† CENTRAL PROVINCE SMART QUIZ COMPETITION

Central Province has successfully held its SMART QUIZ Competition, bringing together five colleges to showcase their knowledge, teamwork and academic excellence.

The participating colleges were:

πŸ“š Kabwe College
πŸ“š Serenje College
πŸ“š Chitambo College
πŸ“š Chibombo College
πŸ“š Mkushi College

The competition was hosted by Mkushi College at Shalom Lodge Conference Hall. The event provided an exciting platform for students to demonstrate their knowledge and compete for an opportunity to represent Central Province at the National SMART QUIZ Competition.

Provincial Heath Director Dr Elijah Mutoloki officially opened the quite competition and encouraged all student participants to see themselves as winners either they come out as top best 3 colleges or not. He said participating in this quiz already makes them as winners. He steered the moral in the students to also position and prepare themselves when the join the healthy system to learn to work under emergencies by making swift correct, timely and impactful decisions.

The three top best performing colleges weee;

1. First Position - Chitambo College of Nursing and Midwifery
2. Second position- Mkushi College of Applied Sciences
3. Third Position-Kabwe School of Nursing and Midwifery

The three top-performing colleges were selected to represent the province at national level.
Congratulations to all participating colleges for their commitment, teamwork and excellent performance.

We wish the provincial representatives the very best as they prepare for the national competition!
