The Paul Kasonga Memorial Library is an academic library for Central Africa Baptist University (CABU) located in Riverside, Kitwe, Zambia. Named in memory of Paul Kasonga, one of Zambia’s first indigenous pastors, the library exists to support its parent institution in “training the next generation of servant leaders in Africa for great commission living.” Our patrons are divided into students, st
aff, faculty and community. In accordance with its purpose, the Paul Kasonga Memorial Library:
1. Seeks to make information accessible to its patrons by regularly collecting and cataloging important and up to date resources in the fields of theology and education.
2. Provides an organized, clean, and pleasant environment for learning and training.
3. Encourages the use of information in the classroom and in daily life activities.
4. Works with faculty, staff, and students for the production of new materials through research.
5. Develops connections with other like-minded institutional libraries. We thank God for giving us a unique collection of over 12,000 items (books, periodicals and audio visual materials), and we trust Him for its further development and growth.
