My daughter Lungile Zulu wants an exhibition slot at the Mulimi Summit, but the office asked her to pay K500. She asked if she could get a free slot since she's my daughter, but I told her to earn it herself! Now she's hustling, selling her K10 lemon grass flavored lemonade at the office, delivered on a tray with some flowers. She has raised K60 so far from today's sales. She's determined to reach her goal of K500. You too can exhibit at the Mulimi Summit! Grandma's, grandpa's, aunties, and uncles, support her entrepreneurial spirit! Maybe we'll one day see her grow her lemon grass business! Ati she can deliver 🙃.

She asked me to post to get more customers, so if you're interested in buying some delicious lemon grass lemonade, let me know!

Welcome to Nafred Valley Farms

At Nafred Valley Farms, we're passionate about regenerative agriculture, which means farming in harmony with nature. Our name, Nafred, is derived from " Natural Agriculturist Fred," reflecting our commitment to sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices.

Our Mission

As a registered mixed farming business, we're dedicated to helping small-scale farmers transform their lands into thriving ecosystems. We empower them to adopt natural farming methods, generating substantial revenue while promoting environmental stewardship.

Our Approach

At Nafred Valley Farms, we reject the use of chemicals in farming, instead embracing nature's wisdom to grow nutritious food. As a socially responsible business, we prioritize education, teaching local farmers and consumers about the importance of balancing with nature and making informed food choices.

Our Motto

We live by the motto: "No Farmer, No Food, No Future." We're excited to collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations to create a more sustainable food system.

Stay Tuned

In the coming weeks, we'll be sharing valuable content that benefits farmers, customers, suppliers, and the community at large. Join us on this journey towards a more regenerative and sustainable future!

We need farmers, more than any other profession. If lawyers, politicians, bankers, university academics or salesmen were to somehow disappear tomorrow, I think the world would muddle through pretty well. Some things might even get better. But if farmers were to vanish, most of us would be dead within a year.
Compliments of the season enjoy your rice🍜 na potato🍗🥂🥰

It is no secret that the cost of living has been on the rise in recent years.

One way to combat this is by growing your own food.

Families who may not have a lot of extra money can use their backyard space to grow fruits and vegetables.

This can help them save money on their grocery bills each month.

How to Start a Cattle Farm

Cattle farming is filled with opportunities, from dairy and beef to selling calves for shows at local fairs. To start a new farm, you need a business plan, a plot of land, and start-up money. Build all of the features your farm needs, then start with a couple of cows. Turn those cows into profit and, over time, you may gradually turn your business into a thriving cattle farm.

Start with a small farm and a handful of cows at first. Most farmers start off with 2 to 5 cows. They may not have the money or experience to handle more. Focus on getting a few healthy cows, then turning them into profit so you are able to afford more. Sell your products at a local level to get started.
Keeping only a few cows means your land won’t be overwhelmed. Cows take up a lot of space and may eat pastures to ruin if you aren’t careful.
If you have the money and experience, starting with a whole herd is possible, but be careful. Make sure you have barn and pasture space.

Zambia Army Demo plot
Soils should always be covered by growing plants or their residues. This is important for a number of reasons:
Moisture retention by limiting the evaporation of water from the soil surface
Soil temperatures staying at an optimal level
Preventing soil erosion ( through water and wind)
Suppressing w**d growth
