PRESIDENT HICHILEMA MUST NOT SIGN THE US DEAL!

“President Hichilema must not sign the deal that gives away our Nations birth right in mining.”

Lusaka- 17th March, 2026

The United States is considering withholding lifesaving assistance to people with H.I.V. in Zambia as a negotiating tactic to force the government to sign a deal giving the United States more access to critical minerals.

We urge President Hichilema’s Government NOT TO SIGN THE DEAL. We have strong disagreements and objections in the manner President Hichilema is conducting politics and governing our country. We stand with governments position in the defense of our country’s sovereignty.

We urge President Hichilema to further address Parliament on this matter and galvanize support of patriotic citizens. Yes patriotism has taken severe blows in the UPND’s reign but it has not died completely. Zambia has still patriotic remnants.

Instead of the beating Zambia into submission, the US must freely invest in our country adhering to the investment laws. Zambia is open for business to the global community. Zambia must not be involved in the battles of superpowers. Zambia remains a nonaligned nation.

It is regrettable that the US foreign policy under President Trump resembles one that nearly sank the world into the abyss during the second world war and the cold war era. The US must return to its admirable respectable position. The world still need a morally balanced US.

In the advent of these unprecedented geopolitical events, we urge President Hichilema to change his administrations mining policy and leverage our critical minerals to reduce dependence on foreign powers.

MEALIE MEAL COSTING K200 OR LESS IS POSSIBLE!- JACKSON SILAVWE

‎Life is too short for a poor citizenry not to afford the staple food. World over, governments subsidizes staple foods and essentials to promote affordability and shield the poor from negative economic hardships.

‎Indeed, the primary purpose of any government is to protect and support its people. A government is not for profit or profit and loss entity. Government business is different from commercial business.

‎With the GPZ RESET VISION GAINS from the mining sector of making gold, lithium, uranium, sugilite and emeralds as state assets to be mined by zccm-ih or the defense forces.

‎Unapologetically, the GPZ RESET GOVERNMENT shall subsidize the cost of mealie meal, fuel and electricity as an immediate economic mitigation relief for the majority poor citizenry.

‎With regards to mealie meal, GPZ RESET GOVERNMENT shall;

1. ‎ Establish maize state farms in each province to match the provincial maize consumption.

2. ‎ Establish state mealie meal plants in each province.

3. ‎Expand existing state farms to increase production.

4. ‎Establish one stop maize auction centers in border towns for export to neighbouring countries.

5. Build maize reserves in each province to store grain with minimum a consumption of 3 years.

It is unacceptable to remove subsidies on essential goods when 64% of the population lives in poverty and more than 8 million people are unemployed without a stable source of income

‎Such actions lead to dire consequences for our people resulting in sending them to their early graves. All because of external pressure from foreign powers that fund our budget.

‎ZAMBIA!!! RESET!!!

KABWE RANGERS FC BUS CRASH LEAVES DRIVER DEAD, FIVE INJURED

By Taonga Nk’homa

A bus carrying Kabwe Rangers Football Club players was involved in a fatal road accident on Sunday, March 16, that left the driver dead and five club officials and players injured.

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) Central Province has confirmed the incident in a statement issued by provincial chairperson Chisanga P**e, who says the accident claimed the life of the hired bus driver, Sam Lungu.

According to P**e, the team had travelled to Serenje to play a Week 25 Division Two Zone ‘B’ fixture against Silverlands.

Those injured in the accident are players Christopher Musakanya, Given Sichamba and John Kombe, as well as coach Lewis Nkandu and club secretary Karen Namukoko.

P**e explains that he, together with FAZ Central Province General Secretary Maxwell Shaba, rushed to the accident scene and later visited the injured victims at Kapiri Mposhi District Hospital.

He has conveyed condolences to the family of the deceased driver and wished the injured players, coach, and club secretary a quick recovery.

Police are expected to release further details regarding the cause of the accident.

*DECENTRALIZE TENDERING AND AWARDING OF BIG CONTRACTS TO DISTRICT COUNCILS- JACKSON SILAVWE*

‎In order to increase money flow in the districts and boost local economic activities, in the GPZ RESET VISION we shall decentralize the tendering and awarding of big contracts to all the districts councils.

‎The majority of the big contracts are awarded in Lusaka, a system that does not support local district economic development but fosters bureaucracy and corruption.

‎Apart from security contracts and main roads connecting provinces and districts, the central government shall step back from the tendering and awarding processes.

‎This shift shall;

‎1. Create opportunities for local companies to participate in getting big government contracts.

‎2. Increase local district economic activities.

‎3. Improve job creation at local district level.

‎4. Increase money flow to local districts and provinces far from Lusaka.

‎5. Prevent rural-urban migration seeking job opportunities in the cities.

‎6. Break the cartel of awarding contracts to the same companies through political, tribal and regional connections.

‎This reset action shall encourage big
‎companies to establish bases in districts allowing for equitable distribution of resources and economic opportunities.
