The Government has disbursed K100 million as an initial allocation for bursaries under the 2026 Constituency Development Fund (CDF). It has been reported that each constituency will receive K641,000, aimed at supporting learners in secondary and tertiary institutions, as well as settling outstanding bursary commitments for those already in school.
This information genuinely excites me — but it also raises an important concern. Many of my peers are still unaware of this opportunity. And if people don’t know, they simply cannot access it.
That’s why today’s conversation is focused on information sharing and civic awareness on.
We will unpack:
1. What the CDF is
2. Who can access it
3. Why it is important to understand its existence
And more. It is important that you take note that this discussion is purely educational, not political.
I’ll be joined by The Change Narrative - Mwaba Lucky , who will help break down the CDF in a clear and practical way. We will then transition into a youth spotlight with Charles “President Numb”, Prezident Numb who contested in the UNZAHSSA elections in his first year, competing against third- and final-year students and won as committee member.. We want to understand what gave him the confidence to step forward so boldly.
We’ll conclude with the Take It to the Bin Campaign, a simple campaign with meaningful impact on our communities.
Guess who my co-host is! Musondah Joule!!!!!!
