We followed the vultures expecting to find a fresh kill. Instead, all that remained was a splash of blood, a single bone, and a mystery the bush wasn't ready to share. While the predators stayed hidden, I did manage to capture this beautiful portrait of one of nature's most important clean-up crew. Every safari has a story—even when you don't see the ending. 🦅

🦁 A Weekend of Unforgettable Wildlife Drama at Hippo Lodge! 🦛

Nature put on an incredible show for our guests this weekend.

After a hippo died of natural causes, a pride of lions claimed the carcass, providing spectacular sightings as they fed throughout the weekend. Just when everyone thought the excitement was over, a second pride arrived, chasing the first away before taking over the feast themselves!

The raw & untamed wilderness that makes Kafue National Park so special. Every game drive is different, and you never know what incredible encounters await around the next corner.
