I wish to sincerely thank every one of our supporters throughout this campaign. Every contribution, every word of encouragement, every sacrifice and every vote will forever remain treasured.
The block voting may have disadvantaged me, as many voters ultimately chose the party symbol over the ability, capacity and integrity of individual candidates. Nevertheless, I hold no bitterness. This experience has taught me valuable lessons.
To our CF campaign team, thank you for your incredible sacrifice under very difficult conditions. You took me through all six wards, and today I have a much clearer understanding of where our support is strongest and where more work needs to be done.
I also sincerely thank the Constituency, District, Provincial and National Executive Committees for your support throughout this journey.
For me, this has been a great learning curve. But more importantly, the vision has not ended—it has only begun. This is now a project that must be fulfilled sooner rather than later. The campaign for the next round starts now.
Without malice or bitterness, I salute all my fellow competitors in the race to Manda Hill. As Citizens First, we never had any confrontation with any of the three parties in the race—UPND, Socialist Party and Tonse Alliance NURPP. We competed, we disagreed on ideas, but we remained committed to a peaceful democratic process.
From this day forward, we become watchdogs of performance and representation in the new Chifunabuli North Constituency. We will follow developments from Day One, hold leadership accountable and continue advocating for the people.
To the people of Chifunabuli North and Chifunabuli as a whole: thank you, and may God bless you.

Let Us Vote for the Voiceless

As we go to the polls, let us look beyond politics. Let us look into the eyes of our mothers who struggle to give birth in health facilities that lack the basic infrastructure and dignity they deserve.

Let us remember our fathers who wake up every day carrying the heavy burden of feeding, educating and providing for their families, yet opportunities to earn a decent living remain painfully out of reach.

Let us also look at the substandard mortuary where we keep our beloved departed ones—a facility that should give our families dignity and comfort in their darkest moments, yet remains a sorry sight. Is this what our people deserve?

Let us remember our young people—full of dreams, talent and potential—but year after year, denied opportunities to work, build businesses and create better lives for themselves.

For too long, our people have been kept vulnerable and dependent, reduced to lining up for handouts while those in positions of leadership focus on self-enrichment. Our people deserve more than food handouts. They deserve jobs. They deserve dignity. They deserve functioning health facilities, good roads, quality education and real opportunities.

This election must not only be about politics. It must be about people. It must be about our future.

Let us be the voice of the voiceless. Let us open our eyes to the continued underdevelopment of Chifunabuli. Let us choose leaders who will serve the people—not those who will use poverty as a tool for political survival.

Chifunabuli deserves better.
Our mothers deserve better.
Our fathers deserve better.
Our youth deserve better.
Our children deserve better.

May God guide you to vote with wisdom, courage and a clear conscience.

FROM DEAD WOOD, WE SHALL SPROUT! 🌱

They have taken undue advantage of the poverty and vulnerability of our people. It breaks my heart to see our brothers and sisters being reduced to lining up with bowls in their hands, fighting over handouts just to put food on the table.

Is this the future we want for Chifunabuli North?

Feeding our people today is not wrong. But when feeding programmes are deliberately used to create dependency, manipulate the vulnerable and secure political loyalty, then we must ask ourselves: Where is the dignity of our people? Where is the long-term plan to lift them out of poverty?

You cannot claim to love people while deliberately keeping them poor so that you can continue controlling them.

As the saying goes, “Umweni te unaila abakaya inshima; aba bakaya ebanaila umweni nshima.” nomba kuno umweni eulenayila abakaya inshima pakuti balyefye pa bushiku bwelelelo ngaba voter ninshi chapwa.

It reminds me of the relationship between a fisherman and the fish in our lakes and rivers. The fisherman does not bait his hook because he loves the fish. He uses bait to deceive the fish, catch it and eventually slaughter it for his own benefit.

Our people must not become bait for anyone’s political ambitions.

I appeal to the people of Chifunabuli North: let us reclaim our dignity, our pride and our power. Do not allow temporary handouts to determine the future of your children. A plate of food can feed you today, but a good school, a hospital, a decent road, productive agriculture, fisheries, jobs and sustainable businesses can transform generations.

We deserve leaders who will not simply give us crumbs, but will build a table where our people can feed themselves with dignity.

We deserve leadership with a vision.
We deserve opportunity, not dependency.
We deserve empowerment, not manipulation.
We deserve development, not perpetual poverty.

From dead wood, we shall sprout. 🌱

Chifunabuli North is not destined to remain poor. Our people are not helpless. Our future is not for sale.

Let us rise. Let us reclaim our dignity. Let us build the Chifunabuli we deserve.

STOP ABUSING SOCIAL CASH TRANSFER TO GAIN CHEAP POPULARITY IN CHIFUNABULI NORTH!

The alleged use of Social Cash Transfer (SCT) activities as a scheme to woo voters in Chifunabuli North is unacceptable bane! Social protection programmes are meant to support vulnerable citizens—not to be turned into political mobilisation tools.

Woodwinking people with SCT will not win you this election. The people of Chifunabuli North are watching, and many have already made up their minds. You cannot use people's poverty as a campaign strategy and expect them to forget your past performance.

Even more concerning is the involvement of civil servants from the Ministry of Community Development in what appears to be political activity. If civil servants are being dragged into partisan activities, you are putting their careers, livelihoods and future pensions at risk.

Please spare them! They have a future ahead of them beyond August 13, and their pensions and careers should not be sacrificed for someone's political ambitions.

Last night, elderly citizens were made to wait for hours, believing they were going to receive Social Cash Transfer payments—only to discover that there was utuma K5 here, K5 there, a little transport money and a few T-shirts.

Honestly, is this how we want to treat our elderly people, mwebantu? Ukwabula noluse sure, kabili ukwabula nomuchinshi kubakalamba!

Our people are not for sale.
Ubuchushi bwabo te campaign tool!

Their poverty, vulnerability and desperation should never be exploited for political gain.

You have held public office before, and during that time, the people of Chifunabuli expected meaningful development. Yet the constituency remains desperately underdeveloped. You had your opportunity, but you failed to deliver the development people needed if anything mwalilunda pa buchushi bwabo pakukana leta development ku chifunabuli.

And today you want the same people to entrust you with power again?

So that the same lack of development continues? Awee bane, mwakwatamo no Luse kwena!

Chifunabuli North deserves leadership that respects its people, protects public institutions and delivers genuine development—not politics built around handouts, desperation and cheap popularity.

This is Kalasa Community School in Chifunabuli North. Any right-thinking citizen who sees this should immediately realize just how underdeveloped our constituency remains. After so many years, is this really the standard our children deserve?

Can any sensible person honestly entrust leadership back into the hands of those who had the opportunity to develop this area but failed to do so?

Aikona, man! The time has come to choose progress over empty promises. Chifunabuli deserves better, and that change starts with us.

Yesterday, we joined the faithful in worship at Musongo Centre in Kapamba Ward, New Chifunabuli Constituency. It was a humbling experience that reminded us that true leadership is about serving every aspect of our people's lives—both physical and spiritual.

Seeing this church in such a dilapidated state was deeply moving. Our people deserve better. A church is a sanctuary where families find hope, children learn values, and communities unite in prayer. It should never be left to crumble.

The words, "Go and repair my church, which as you can see is falling apart," are a powerful reminder that restoring our communities begins with restoring the places that give people hope.

My vision is clear: no part of Chifunabuli should be forgotten. We will work tirelessly to improve our schools, health facilities, roads, markets, and places of worship. Development must reach every village, every ward, every sector, and every church.

Together, let us build a New Chifunabuli where faith is respected, communities are empowered, and every citizen has a reason to hope for a better tomorrow.

Step by step. Ward by ward. Church by church. Together, we will transform Chifunabuli.

A community that neglects its youth is a community that risks its future.

For too long, many young people in Chifunabuli have been left with limited opportunities, forcing some into drug abuse, alcohol abuse, and other harmful activities leading to disease and infections —not because they lack potential, but because they lack opportunities.

When we come into power, we will change that story.

We will invest in sports as a powerful tool to unite, inspire, and keep our youth positively engaged. We will promote skills training and craft programmes that will empower young people to become self-reliant, create businesses, and provide for their families with dignity.

Our administration will also ensure that government and non-governmental youth empowerment programmes are brought closer to our people so that no deserving young person is left behind. Every available opportunity for training, funding, and entrepreneurship will be pursued to help our youth unlock their full potential.

The future of Chifunabuli does not lie in empty promises—it lies in empowering our young people today. Let us build a constituency where every youth has hope, every talent is nurtured, and every dream has a chance to succeed.

Together, we can build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Chifunabuli for all.
