CDE PAUL TENDEKAYI GOTO TO THE WOMEN OF WARD 23.
As we celebrate women's month under the theme " **gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow* ". I would like to take this opportunity to celebrate all women from all walks of life on whose backs the burdens of a nation are carried.. On whose prayers we prosper. Their resilience in the face of the numerous challenges we face is unmatched. Their determination is an inspiration to all. To all women, I salute you.
As your aspiring councilor I am cognizant of the important role women play in the development of our communities. Communities are build by families and families stand on the strong foundation built by our women. My promise to you is that I will diligently lead the process of developing our community . By adopting a gender sensitive community development agenda we can build our community. Before we look outside we should work with the resources at our disposal and one of our greatest resource is our *Women*. By investing in our women and creating an environment for them and their children to thrive we will build a strong community. It's no longer time to complain but to *ACT.* .No longer time to point fingers but to get our fingers *WORKING*.
