Handwashing is one the best ways to prevent COVID-19. I accepted the Safe Hands Challenge from Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and
the World Health Organization (WHO). Proper handwashing is key to fighting the coronavirus and we can all do our part. I now nominate RI General Secretary John Hewko to take the Safe Hands Challenge.

This Sunday marks the first anniversary of the Tropical Cyclone Idai catastrophe. While the plight of the survivors has petered away in our memory, most of them have never recovered psychologically or financially. Our good friends at Miracle Missions haven’t been found wanting and continue to support the survivors.

To mark the event, Miracle Missions trustee Jacqueline Anderson will visit the Rotary club of Harare Central on Thursday the 12th of March where she will give an update on the work that her charity is doing. You are all invited to attend. Our meetings start at 1730 hours.
