Observe the 20 second rule!! When washing hands with soap and water wash for at least 20 seconds, especially coming from public places, or after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. If soap and water are not readily available, use hand sanitizer by covering all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry. Avoid complacency. Wash your hands. Curb the spread.

On the 7th of August the Zimbabwe Council of Churches, supported by Act For Peace, conducted food voucher distributions to children under 5 years of age in the Seke district areas of Gilstone (Ward 10), Jonasi Clinic and Kunaka Clinic (Ward 8).

An assortment of groceries supplied by Pro Brands allowed parents of the children to have a variety to choose from. In total, 157 vouchers were distributed. Parents of the children who received vouchers expressed their gratitude for the assistance given by Zimbabwe Council of Churches, which they said came at a critical time.

The country is currently facing severe food shortages, with almost half of the population living below the Poverty Datum Line of USD 1 per day.

In all the processes, COVID-19 guidelines such as washing of hands, proper wearing of face masks, temperature checks as well as physical distancing were observed.

The owner of the house communicated with his relatives here in Zimbabwe still we were awarded the cleaning contracts. The interior walls has undercoat only and it is very difficult to clean walls with undercoat, however with cleaning skills we have the walls are looking repainted. The insuit tiles were full of stains all were removed. Currently our organisation is negotiating with the owner to clean the carpet. Enjoy the video.
