#BeBoldForChange

AWEP celebrates women today on the 8th, daring all women to go out there and change the world. The year 2016 coming to 2018 has seen AWEP daring women to venture into male dominated spaces. With the Accelerated Skills Training and Incubation Program which dared women into painting and tiling, chemical processing etc. We have seen women becoming bold, taking entrepreneurship by the reigns. Working together, moving forward, becoming bold in accessing finance. We have no doubt women are now #boldforchange

We are proud of Skhubekiso Tshuma a beneficiary of AWEP's Accelerated Skills Training and Incubation Program (ASTIP) which was run under the Zimbabwe Works Project.

We applaud the Zimbabwe Works project for transforming the lives of women. Through their training Sikhubekiso from Bulawayo is now unstoppable! She now runs a company which produces detergents. Her brand name 'Villa Enterprises' has already hit the shelves of supermarkets such as Choppies. As we commemorate International Women's Day this week, we challenge you to #BeBoldforChange and transform the lives of other women. Join the conversation using the hashtag --#BeBoldforChange -- and tell us how you have changed the lives of women in your area...

Happy Women's Day!!. Let's continue working towards women empowerment. We can make our mark in the sands of Zimbabwe and Africa's time by sensitizing each other more on the power of entrepreneurship, for it's one of the ways which women can become stakeholders to national development and in their communities. #AWEPZim
