Located in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, and operated by Abu Dhabi Airports since 2006, our airport runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As part of our master expansion strategy to accommodate growing passenger numbers, significant projects have been recently completed and others still underway set to turn Abu Dhabi International Airport into a leading gateway connecting east and west.

The adventure doesn't end when the holiday does. Together with Etihad Airways and Abu Dhabi Culture, we welcomed families home ahead of the new school year with a special arrival experience right here at Zayed International Airport (AUH). ​

​From children's giveaways to a specially designed cultural boarding pass, we made sure the homecoming felt as exciting as the journey itself, because Abu Dhabi is always worth exploring.​

In support of the UAE's Year of the Family, we are proud to launch Summer Smiles, a family engagement initiative that invites children to experience the magic of Zayed International Airport (AUH) from the inside. From welcoming arriving passengers with warm smiles to completing airport missions, collecting stamps in their very own passport, and graduating as official Summer Smiles Ambassadors, this is an airport experience like no other. Because the best journeys are the ones we share with family.​

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched Aounak, a travel support service for UAE citizens.

Now available at Zayed International Airport, Aounak provides quick access to essential travel services through a QR code, helping Emiratis stay supported throughout their journey.

We are proud to be one of the key access points for this service.



أطلقت وزارة الخارجية خدمة “عونك” لدعم مواطني دولة الإمارات أثناء السفر.

وتتوفر الخدمة الآن في مطار زايد الدولي، حيث تتيح الوصول السريع إلى خدمات السفر الأساسية عبر رمز QR، لتكون رفيقاً موثوقاً للمسافر طوال رحلته.

نفخر في مطار زايد الدولي بأن نكون إحدى نقاط الوصول الرئيسية لهذه الخدمة.
