Later in the day (26th August 2026) Amb. Kenneth Nganga, met with the leadership of ONAGI United, a community-based organisation of Kenyans living in the UAE.

Discussions centred on collaboration between the Embassy and organised groups of Kenyans living in the UAE to improve the welfare of Kenyans in the Country.

On 26th August 2026, Amb. Kenneth Nganga, met with Mr Daniel Mweru, Founder and CEO of Furaha and Baraka Farms Limited (FBF), a pioneering Kenyan-founded climate and Agri-tech company, registered in both Kenya and the UAE.

Based in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, the company seeks to empower organisations, institutions and communities through innovative and verifiable carbon project solutions that promote positive environmental change.

The discussions centred on potential collaboration between the Embassy, Furaha and Baraka Farms Limited (FBF) and relevant stakeholders in the UAE to advance the global environmental sustainability agenda.

UPDATE ON UAE VISA REGULATIONS FOR SELECT GROUPS OF KENYANS.

The government of the UAE has introduced visa on arrival for select categories of Kenyans and their family members as follows:

• Kenyan nationals and their family members who hold ordinary passports and have residence permits or valid visas issued by either the United States of America, European Union member states, or the United Kingdom.
• Kenyan nationals and their family members with ordinary passports with residence permits issued by Japan, South Korea, Australia, Canada, Singapore, or New Zealand.

On 19 August 2026, Amb. Kenneth Nganga held a meeting with H.E. Abdulrahim Sultan, Director General, World Green Economy Organisation (WGEO).

The two discussed Kenya's milestones in green energy and appraised WGEO's partnership with Nairobi in pursuance of low-carbon solutions in Kenya's urban areas.

With a membership of over 70 countries, WGEO supports emerging global actions towards green, low-carbon, climate-resilient development.

H.E. Kenneth Nganga, Kenya's Ambassador to the UAE, and Ms. Anastancia Osundwa, Minister, interacted with Kenyans in Al Ain, during the Embassy's Mobile Consular Clinic in Al Ain today!

During the session, Amb. Nganga urged Kenyans in the UAE to continue working hard, abiding by the rules and regulations of the UAE, and investing back home.

The Kenyans in Al Ain brainstormed with the Embassy to explore practical recommendations on the various challenges they face in their everyday life in the diaspora!
