Thirty-two years later, Rwanda stands as a confident, resilient, reliable, and forward-looking nation. Our story is no longer defined by tragedy, but by remarkable transformation. Today, Rwanda is widely recognised as one of Africa's fastest-growing economies and one of its safest, cleanest, and best-governed countries.”

On the occasion of , Amb. John Mirenge also reflected on the growing relations between Rwanda and the UAE. “The strong friendship between Rwanda and the United Arab Emirates continues to grow from strength to strength.
